Founded in 1943, the company is a full service supplier of blood and blood products to 35 Illinois and Indiana hospitals and employs 445 staff members. The 2200SF office unit will be the 16^th collection center in Chicago area, and will supply a blood supplier for the area hospitals. Opening the new facility required a long approval process from the Village of Bloomingdale, which was started in April, and the facility had the opening ceremony November 15, 2009.
